View as we approached Torres del Paine National Park

As we first arrived to the park, we took a quick 4.5 mile warmup hike between Guarderia Lago Sarmiento to Guarderia Laguna Amarga. It was a hike to get out some of the cooped up energy and begin seasoning our tastebuds for the Patagonia landscape. If we had been there just a month or two later, we would have seen the pink flamingos hanging out in the aptly named Laguna Los Flamencos. Instead we were granted with guanaco after guanaco.

Park Entrance.. we're here!

The hike (and thus the pictures) was fairly uneventful — primarily a good reason to get out some energy and start the blood moving.
