Neuschwanstein and Fresh Snow

During the marathon one-day drive from Lucerne, Switzerland to Rejstejn, Czech Republic, I stopped along the way to visit two of Ludwig's castles, including the infamous Neuschwanstein.

My visit to Neuschwanstein was graced by a light dusting of snow from the previous night. The snow brought out all of the texture around the castle.

Here, the light dusting of snow melted over the warmer bricks, leaving the octagonal grass insets untouched.
