At the Miami airport we took the inventory of all the essentials: Tig and Lenka's pillow. We also spent the last two hours eating as much "we won't have this for 2 months" type of food as we could: Reese's Peanut Butter cups and Lenka's mom's homemade Czech Christmas cookies. (If truth be known, Lenka had the former, and Geoff had the latter). 

One last pinch in the arms and a deep breath—could it be true that our dream trip is really becoming a reality?
